Roughly an hour a week, split between meeting with our speaker coaches and working on your talk in your own time. The month before the conference, the time commitment will increase to about 2 hours a week.

You can talk about whatever you want and are interested in. Our past talks have varied from math, to science, to pinball, to life skills, to everything in between. You can see some of our previous speakers on your website.

A speaker typically has to be well researched or very knowledgeable about their topic, but also be the right person to talk about it. We know this sounds vague, but what we are primarily looking for are passionate people who have a unique idea that only they would be able to share in a specific way.

It looks like submitting an application which will be reviewed by our entire team, and an interview process.

Unfortunately no, our applicants are strictly limited to Tufts community members.

TEDxTufts has many partner organizations and we would be thrilled to add another to our list. Please send an email to tedxtufts@gmail.com with your organization details and contact information, along with potential partnership plans.
